　　01. 澳洲印象 Impressions of Australia

　　提到澳大利亚，大家第一反应是南半球、阳光、牛奶、羊毛，而我对澳大利亚第一反应是地广人稀，悉尼作为一个国际化城市，居然没有什么高楼，下飞机时候第一感觉是人很少，不像国内很多城市能感觉到城市喧嚣，悉尼很安静，而且植被覆盖率很高。其次第二个感觉是天空很蓝，没有被污染的蓝，无论身处哪一个位置，天空都是蓝色的。

　　When it comes to Australia, many people’s first impression is associated with the southern hemisphere, sunshine, milk and wool. My first impression of Australia was that it landscape is vast and sparsely populated. Sydney, as an international city, has few tall buildings. When I was getting off the plane, I felt that there were fewer people. Unlike many cities in China, Sydney is quiet and has high vegetation coverage. Secondly, the sky there is very blue, no matter where you are, the sky is always in a charming blue color.

　　02.  生活与工作  Study and Work in Australia

　　我本科是在国内上的，所以在那个时候，我一直觉得大学就是这样的，而到了悉尼大学体验到了不一样的学习氛围，在澳洲的大学，并不是上课听老师讲课就可以了，有一系列的学习活动，上课只是占一半，还有小组讨论，辅导课等活动。我读的IT专业基本每科都有项目或者论文，这就需要以小组的形式完成，每个人分配不同的工作，共同完成。而辅导课主要由导师主导完成，对教授所讲内容的补充或者作业讲解。在这样一个学习氛围下，我从本科阶段的自学过渡到了合作完成内容，从听完课就结束过渡到了根据作业和导师进行讨论，从只学习课本内容过渡到查阅各种文献。

　　I had my undergraduate education in China, so at that time, I always thought that university lives across the world were universal. When I came to the University of Sydney, I experienced a totally different learning atmosphere. In Australian universities, it is not enough to just listen to the teacher in class. There are a series of learning activities, and only half of which are taught in the traditional lecture fashion. There are also many group discussions and tutorial classes. In the IT related major classes of mine, most all of them had term projects or papers, which need to be completed in the form of a group, in which each group member is assigned with different work to complete the task together. However, there is a tutor from each of your supplementary class/tutor's guidance section who is responsible of the explanation of homework and discussion of topics related to the lecture section. In such a learning atmosphere, I have transformed from independent study style at the undergraduate stage to cooperative style, from only listening to the lecture to self-willingly discussing projects with tutors, and from learning based on textbooks to studying from researches.

　　在学习之余，我还找了一个兼职工作。在澳洲大学学生打工是很常见的，一周可以合法工作20小时，根据工作内容拿所对应的时薪，而我的兼职工作就是在家附近的面包店切吐司做咖啡，一方面确实很辛苦，因为人多没有休息时间，另一方面能体验到挣钱的不容易，很感激我的父母愿意让我出国留学。

　　Besides studying, I also found a part-time job. It's very common for Australian university students to work part-time. Students can work up to 20 hours a week legally and get the corresponding hourly salary according to the work content. My part-time job was to cut toast and make coffee in the bakery near my home. On the one hand, it was really hard task because there were many costumers so that I barely had any rest time. On the other hand, I was bale to experience the difficulty of making money. Thus, from that working experiences, I am very grateful to my parents for supporting me study abroad.

　　两年的学习我拿到了硕士双学位，也面临了毕业生都要经历的过程，找工作。在毕业时候，我很幸运的在当地找到工作，所以我从自由的学生跨度到了早九晚五的上班族，我的工作主要内容是在公司里写网站，官网的维护。这一份工作不知不觉就做了一年多,直到决定回国来到云南经济管理学院。

　　After two years of study, I got my dual master degrees and also faced with the process that every graduates have to go through to find a job. When I graduated, I was very lucky to find a job in Sydney, so I went from a college student to an office worker who worked nine to five every weekdays. My main task was to program website pages in the company and maintain the official website. I had been working there for more than a year until I made the decision to return home and join Yunnan College of Business Management.

　　03.  澳洲游玩 Tour in Australia

　　在澳洲工作稳定后，在周末我会安排一些游玩或者出行计划。澳洲生活其实节奏很慢，大家都很享受阳光，所以休息日都能看到很多人到海边晒太阳。澳洲游玩地方很多，由于算是南半球最大的国家，所以自然风光是最出名的，有很多国家公园，是有森林和野生小动物的那种，所以户外运动在当地非常受欢迎，夏天海边冲浪潜水，冬天徒步滑雪等，在这些活动中我认识很多小伙伴，体验了不同与国内的户外活动。

　　After found my career in Australia, I had been arranging some tours on weekends. In fact, the pace of life in Australia is very slow. Everyone enjoy the sunshine, so there are many people go to the ocean-side to bask in the sun on the weekends. Australia has many places to visit. It is the largest country in the southern hemisphere, and it is known for the beautiful natural scenery. There are many national parks with forests and wild animals. Therefore, outdoor sports are very popular in the local area. In the summer, surfing and diving by the ocean are super popular. On the other hand, hiking and skiing are dominating in the winter. Via these different activities, I have met many friends and experienced outdoor activities different from those in China.

　　我最喜欢的活动之一徒步，当地有很多徒步路线，可以在国家公园中在树林中散步，有一种远离城市喧嚣的感觉，也可以沿着海边走，看海景。当然我也在小伙伴带领下体验了澳洲不一样的游玩方式，滑雪，澳洲的冬天在7-8月，这两个月很多雪场开放，很多人都是自己开车住在雪场附近，第二天一早就能上山去滑雪。澳洲各种动物都很多，开车在高速，都能看到袋鼠的存在，或者各种蜥蜴，牛群羊群。在澳洲接近4年的学习和工作，确实感受了不一样的环境，虽然澳洲IT行业完全比不上美国，甚至留学的成本很高，生活方便程度比不上国内，但再给我一次机会，我还是会选择来澳洲，体验不一样的生活。天地辽阔，走向世界的芳华! 我很幸运能够拥有这么一段在国外生活与工作的经历。

　　Hiking is one of my favorite activities. There are many hiking routes in Australia. You can choose to take a walk in the woods in the National Parks or walk along the coast to see the ocean view. Of course, I also experienced different ways of entertainment in Australia under the guidance of my friends. Skiing is the most popular sports in the winter in Australia from July to August. In these two months, many ski resorts are open. Almost all the people drive themselves to the resort and live near by for a night then go skiing in the mountains the next morning. There are many kinds of animals in Australia. You can see the existence of kangaroos, lizards, herds and sheep even on the highway. After nearly four years of study and work in Australia, I have experienced a totally different environment. Although the IT industry in Australia is not as good as the United States, even the cost of studying abroad is very high, and the degree of life convenience is not as good as China,  I would still choose to come to Australia and experience a different life if you give me another chance to choose. There's so much world to see! I am very lucky to have such an experience of living and working abroad.
